The Holy Land and Sinai

Day 1: Departure to Tel Aviv.

Arrival in Tel Aviv. Welcome by your guide. Transfer to Eilat.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Eilat.

Day 2:

Breakfast at the hotel and departure directly to the Taba border into Egyptian territory. (We change the coach and guide). Continue to Nuweiba (60 km from the border). Continue to St. Catherine, visit the Monastery and the Chapel of the Burning Bush. Repos accommodation. (Early) Dinner and overnight. 

Day 3:

Very early in the morning (around 3:00) the ascent of Mount Moses. View the sunrise and descent. Breakfast at the accommodation and departure to Nuweiba. Possibility to take a bath in the Red Sea.

In early afternoon, return to the border and passage to Eilat. You take your guide and bus to continue towards the Dead Sea and Jericho. Dinner and overnight at Jericho.

Day 4:

Breakfast and departure for the discovery of Jericho, the Tell es Sultan, the source of Elisha the Sycamore Zacchaeus and the Mount of Temptation (cable car ascent and descent). Departure to the Dead Sea.

In the afternoon, visit Qumran, where were discovered the manuscripts of the Dead Sea. Swimming and return to Jericho. A second night in Jericho.

Day 5:

Breakfast and departure for the ascent to Jerusalem to Bethlehem and continuations. Discovery of the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Fields.

The afternoon: Ein Karem visit, then departure to Abu Gosh (Emmaus) for a visit to the Benedictines. Accommodation in Jerusalem.

Day 6:

Jerusalem crossing the Mount of Olives: Church of the Ascension, Carmel of Our Father in Gethsemane and Nations (church). Tomb of the Virgin Mary and Basilica of St Mary Magdalene.
Pursuit St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Cenacle, Mount Zion. The Church of the Dormition and the Tomb of King David. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7:

Morning walk in the old town through the Wailing Wall, the Temple Mount, Sainte-Anne and Lithostrotos. Then the Way of the Cross and the Holy Sepulchre. Mass.

Afternoon: Free time in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8:

Departure to Bethany, evocation of Lazarus, Martha and Mary. View of the Wadi Quelt – Saint George Monastery in DESERT- the promontory and continue through the Jordan Valley to Nazareth.

En route visit the place of Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan.

The afternoon: Cana and Mount Tabor. Take taxis for the ascent and descent on Mount Tabor. Accommodation in Nazareth or Tiberias.
Day 9:

Lake day. Crossing the lake by boat. Visit of Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha and the Primacy of Peter.

Afternoon: The Golan Heights, to the sources of the Jordan. Visit Banias (Caesarea Philippi). Back in the Golan. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth or Tiberias.

Day 10:

Visit Nazareth, the town of humility, the hidden life of Jesus, where Jesus spent the years until his mission.

Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the source of pilgrimage to the Virgin in the Church of Saint Gabriel and visit the synagogue.

The afternoon: Passage in Haifa and Mount Carmel, and the Muhraqua Caesarea.

Continue along the coastal road to Jaffa. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the area.

Day 11:

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport. Return flight.
